Rubybox May Unboxing
It's a good day when my Rubybox package comes in. Need I say that it's always late? In the two months I've been with them, it's been one thing or the other wrong with my account. What can one expect from the regular dose of mediocrity bound to be served by representatives from the South of Africa? I'm guilty of complacency at times too, so I won't hold them to their delivery leads.
To their defence; they're human, and when mishaps occur they do their level best to address them rapidly. I appreciate that aspect of their service. I enjoy the aching anticipation surprise subscriptions bring, and that's why I keep going back for more. It will take a lot for me to unsubscribe. Let's hope they keep up their satisfactory work and aim to do better by me.
Below's a snapshot and list of things I got served with this month;
I prefer liquid foundation over cream. This will replace the Garnier BB cream I was using. I like that this one is oil free, and the Rubies couldn't have picked a better colour to go with the hues of my skin. It's like it was made for me. No more foundation colour mixing it seems. Totally loving it! I'm not gaga over the packaging though. MAC got it right with theirs. I hope that my thumbs up for this product will help you overlook the shoddy glass container it's in enough for you to consider buying, because not all beauty products have to be luxe.
♥ Softlips' Acai Berry Organic Lip Conditioner. For soft, kissable lips, this brand has been an all time favourite! Don't like the flavour it came in though. If I had it my way, I would be the happy recipient of their a strawberry flavoured one.
♥ Salvatore Ferragamo's Attimo. It would make a lovely gift for a mature lady. It's floral and heady and I wanted to do away with it as soon as I caught a whiff of it. This one is a no.
♥ Rubybox Beauty Cat Kohl Liner. It's okay. I'm hoping that unlike the Essence liner I have, this will last longer. We'll see. It's application is smooth enough. No irritation just yet. Only time will tell with this one.
